The Art of Arm Balancing with Patricia Walden
Sunday, February 12, 2012
Time: 3:30 - 6:30 pm
Cost: $40
Learn to be as comfortable on your hands as you are on your feet. When we learn to stand up on our arms in arm balancing poses, we soar. Join Patricia in this workshop designed to refine and strengthen the practice of postures like bakasana and bhujapidasana. When we achieve our potential in these poses, we are empowered both physically and psychologically. The practice of these asanas also cultivates mental tolerance and equanimity. Requirements: a regular (daily or weekly) practice of handstand, headstand, and forearm balance. Some experience with basic arm balancings such as bakasana is required. Do not sign up for this workshop if you have a shoulder injury.
