Some of the Basic Exercises In Dahn Yoga

Dahn Yoga, having originated in Korea, has been one of the methods of yoga that has been gaining popularity in the Western World. The main features of this yoga involves better communication of the body from the brain to other organs and gaining understanding of how the body works. Those who engage in this form of yoga are able keep free of emotional problems such as anxiety, depression, and stress, since they can better attain mental balance after practicing.

This yoga style connects the body and soul, and as a result of this connection, the ensuing healing and relaxation that we experience, teaches us to discover our true selves. There are various postures that one can practice under this yoga and it can help to ensure that one is able to communicate even better with every part of the body.

One of the postures is the Sleeping Tiger, a very common and easy pose for those who practice dahn yoga. When practicing this pose one will have to lie down on the floor with palms facing upward, trying to focus on and feel your entire body. This should then be followed by several breathing sessions and once you are fully focused you should lift your legs and hands in a ninety degrees angle for a few minutes before moving to the next step. The other pose that you can try under this yoga is known as the energy accumulation postures which involve generation of energy.

There are points in the body that are said to produce lots of energy, and this pose helps to tap into this energy. The acupuncture is one of the ways that can be used to replace old energy with new. This procedure is done on the palms of the hands as well as the lower abdomen.
