Ashtanga Yoga: exercise intensively and effectively

Ashtanga yoga is an intensive physical exercise, and many people are using Ashtanga yoga to lose weight, keep fit, and build muscle. Athletes also find this form of yoga to be an ideal technique for them, since it helps them achieve the physical training that they require. The other specific characteristic of this form of yoga is that it involves moving from one pose to another in a specific sequence and therefore, similar to the Iyengar yoga.

The main pillars of this form of yoga are divided into eight limbs, this division helps ensure that you follow the right steps and get the best results from this form of yoga. You must strictly follow these eight limbs, as they will determine how successful you will be after completion of these exercises. There are different poses that one should learn under this yoga and they are as follows:

The first pose is known as the sun salutation, which has two different ways that can be used to ensure that you get good results. It is one of the more complex poses of Ashtanga Yoga, but after a few practices you will have an easier way of it.

Intermediate pose is the next pose that you will find under this method: It involves lying on your belly and trying to bring your legs towards your buttocks. There are other exercises that are done using this pose for a base, and you can explore all of them by finding a good teacher who can help you master them.

Standing poses are also the basic poses that you will find in Ashtanga Yoga. This is a good exercise for a beginner to start with, since it’s simple and easy to learn. The student begins by moving their legs a part while bending on each side and trying to make your head touch the ground.

Upon mastery of these poses, expand your repertoire and discover more advanced asanas that can take your Ashtanga Yoga workout to the next level.
